How do you print on mugs?

During our custom mug printing process your photos are embedded into the ceramic or porcelain through a process known as sublimation that uses heat and special top-quality inks. Imagine a big oven – essentially, your photos are baked into your personalised mugs so they won't come off.

When you fill them with a hot liquid, our mugs do start to heat up. Our high-quality printing makes the photos on your personalised mug heat-resistant and the sturdy handle will remain cool so that you can sip your hot beverages safely.

Our ceramic and porcelain mugs are both dishwasher and microwave safe. Our Magic Mug is microwave safe but needs to be hand washed.

No. To keep the amazing heat technology intact, our custom heat mugs are hand wash only, but they're microwafe safe.

Does the image completely disappear when the mug is cold?

When the heat-changing photo mug is cold, your image fades and is only revealed again when the mug is filled with hot water. See? It's just like magic.
